Experienced Surgeon

Dr. Mario Cherubino is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with international experience in microsurgery, hand surgery, and complex reconstruction. He is currently a Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, providing advanced surgical care with a focus on precision, functionality, and aesthetic results.

Previously, he held academic and leadership roles in Italy, including Associate Professor at the University of Insubria and Director of the Microsurgery and Lymphatic Surgery Research Center. His training includes fellowships in Milan, Florence, and a research position at the University of Pittsburgh in stem cell innovation.

He is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the Italian Society for Surgery of the Hand, and an alumnus of Harvard Medical School’s Surgical Leadership Program. With over 100 scientific publications and frequent speaking engagements, Dr. Cherubino is recognized worldwide.
